Indian Head Massage
Indian Head Massage is a very stimulating yet relaxing massage, that works on the upper back, shoulders, neck, face and scalp. It is ideal for people who suffer with stress, head aches and tense aching shoulders. Indian head massage works on the upper body energy centres called chakras, helping them to regulate the flow of energy around the body known as chi. This massage can be offered using oils, or without oil and over clothing.
Reiki is a natural healing energy, where the practitioner channels the flow of energy to the patient. This energy flows to where it is needed most and works on emotional, spiritual, mental, and physical levels. Reiki is a gentle non-intrusive therapy, where by the practitioner uses their hands either over or placed onto the body, and the treatment is generally conducted over the patients clothing. Reiki is a very relaxing therapy, with most people ending the treatment, calm relaxed and energised.
Reflexology works with the reflexes centred in the hands and the feet, by applying pressure to specific reflex points, stress and tension are released from the body. The reflex points in the feet correspond to every organ, gland and area of the body. Discomfort may be felt over these reflex points which have crystal deposits, or may maybe congested; by working those areas carefully, these crystals are dispersed, allowing the body’s natural energy to flow freely again. This treatment is very relaxing, and has a positive affect on the whole body.
Swedish Body Massage
Swedish Body Massage A wonderful treatment which works deep into the muscles, helping to disperse any tension held there. Stimulating movements are used in this massage, and this helps encourage the blood to the surface of the skin, increasing blood and lymph flow encouraging a good supply of oxygen, and drainage to remove toxins. Body massage is a great way to stimulate energy, break down tensions, knots, relieve aches and pains, and induce deep relaxation.
"Combining Reiki and Drumming creates the Reiki Drum Technique, a method of utilising the drum to introduce Reiki energy into a person’s energy field to bring about deep relaxation thereby releasing deep seated tensions and achieving homeostasis. The drum rhythm reminds the body of its optimal vibration. There have been many scientific research studies conducted to discover the effect sound and drumming have on the human body and psyche. Research has indicated that even drumming for a short period of time can induce an alpha state, brainwaves associated with wellbeing and euphoria. Drumming helps people express and address emotional issues, aiding in the removal of blockages and producing emotional release" (Sarah Gregg 2011).
